Some days ago volume 15 of the (German) Eclipse Magazin was published. Together with Harald Griesbeck from Allianz (major German insurance company) I wrote an article about how Equinox Aspects was employed in a strategic project of Allianz in order to implement performance logging, a typical cross cutting concern.
As Martin Lippert and me had put a lot of work into Equinox Aspects over the last months, it feels good to see such a success story. For everybody who is considering using Equinox Aspects this is a sound proof of its maturity and usability.
Eclipse Ganymede Demo Camp
The new Eclipse simultaneous release 3.4 “Ganymede”? is scheduled to be released on June 25, 2008. This release will bring some very interesting new features especially for enterprise applications. We think this is a good reason to meet, talk about the news and noteworthy things of Eclipse Ganymede and of course have a drink. We organize an Eclipse Ganymede Demo Camp on June 20th at 7:00pm in Stuttgart. Everyone is welcome to join us – please visit the Eclipse Ganymede Demo Camp site for details.
We also created a poster which describes the projects and summarizes the most important news and noteworthy things about the platform. Attendees will recieve a free copy.
